The office got a call recently from Open Door, a charity in Cheltenham. Their fridge had broken down and they needed a replacement quickly.

If you are not aware, Open Door carries out vital work in the community. The staff and volunteers provide support for vulnerable, disadvantaged and lonely people through a variety of services offered in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Part of their work is providing hot and cold food for people so having a working fridge is pretty much an essential.

The model they wanted was not immediately available so we placed an order for them. In the meantime, we were able to supply a fridge on loan so that their crucial work was not interrupted.

We now have the new model in stock and are arranging to deliver it, collect the loan fridge and also take away their old damaged one to be environmentally disposed of.

I was very pleased to receive a quick email from their Communications Officer, Rosie Radford.

“I’d like to thank you all again for your excellent service. It has been much appreciated!”

Happy to help, Rosie!
